Over the Moon

For Moon and Lola, that is. This hot line of jewelry, created by North Carolina designer, Kelly Shatat, has been spotted on the likes of Jessica Simpson, Christina Applegate, Faith Hill and Paula Deen. Not too shabby for someone who has only been in business for a mere three years, and who began her newfound career in jewelry making by simply waiting on a friend in a bead shop. While waiting, Kelly's creative mind began working and she decided to try her hand at fashioning jewelry for herself. Here began her love affair with designing and making jewelry.

Moon and Lola's designs range from the funky to the classic, and incorporate a wide variety of textures, such as filigree, gold beaded chain, wood and semi-precious stones.
