A Good, Clean Drink of Water

Today, April 30th, is the last day to donate 750 of your Aveda Pure Privilege points and $15 will be donated in your name to their Earth Month Partner, the Global Greengrants Fund, which works to protect clean drinking water for children and their families around the world. Not a member of Aveda Pure Privilege? Go to the Aveda store nearest you and sign up. For each purchase you make, you earn points.

Once you sign up for Pure Privilege points, remember that May 11 - 13, you'll get double points in honor of Mother's Day. Your points can then be redeemed for such great rewards as Aveda products, Ben & Jerry's ice cream, spa visits and donations to organizations.

Organic farming also helps to protect clean drinking water. You can support this effort by purchasing products made with such wonderful organic ingredients as lavender. Aveda has created an indulgent line of products made with certified organic lavender from Belgium that includes shampoo, soy wax candles, conditioning treatments for hair, among others. You can sign a petition to the U.N. to ask for their help in making clean water a human right.
