What helps me maintain your sense of style while I'm busy being a mom? Short hair, hardly any make up, dark and/or bold patterns on my clothing.
What product could I not live without? My miracle swaddling blanket, the white noise from the fan, and DVR.
My secret indulgence? Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother. I don't know when I got old enough to be CBS's target audience and I don't care if he's gay, but Doogie Houser is HOT.
I am in Michigan. Not sure if I will be eligible for the prize or not but I thought I would try.
tip: The one thing I could not live without is my sling. The baby is carried in the sling and I can go about my business with two hands.

What helps me is to take a deep breath and to focus on what I'm doing. Staying calm and being intentional help me to stay sane and not lose my mind!
Secret indulgence? Chocolate (the darker the better) and chocolate eclairs from an artisanal bakery. Yum!
What makes your life easier?
this shows what a geek I am, but Google calendar is making my life SO much easier. I spend so much time on the pc, and I can view our family calender, my personal calender, my work calendar all on the same calendar, and I use it as a to-do list too.
What product could you not live without?
I didn't realize this until I just got it cut but; a great quality haircut! I makes me look like a star even if I just walked out of the shower with it, with no fussing, get tons of compliments ALL day (and who doesn't need that) and it will last me months! That and mascara & lip moisturizers, oh and wet wipes.
What's your secret indulgence?
My gym membership. Especially the sauna and yoga classes there! That and reading blogs.
Style: I began wearing Eileen Fisher clothes when I had my daughter. They are comfortable and elegant, while still comfy to snuggle on. I also have a hairstyle that works with my natural curl, so no major trauma in the morning.
To keep my life running as smoothly as possible I pay for help. I have a cleaning lady come in once a week, a gardener who comes every 2 weeks, and a babysitter about every 2 weeks. It might seem indulgent, but being the sole breadwinner, mommy, and house project manager, I have to delegate or I would lose my mind.
The thing I cannot live without...my BlackBerry. And my baby's white noise machine. I stole it and use it every single night. She listens to music while dozing off to sleep, but I can't go to sleep without the Brookstone noise machine.

Product I couldn't live without? Birkenstocks. If my feet are comfortable, so am I.
My secret indulgence? What helps me make it through the day (and night)? Co-sleeping. I just can't get enough of my snuggly love bunny, my widdle one-year-old baby, and her chubby belly and all her extra rolls of baby fat that need kissing and squeezing, and the sweet sound of her sighs, and the way she wiggles up against me in the night... These days (and nights) will be gone before you know it, so I'm trying to savor every moment.
For me, good, stylish sunglasses are the key to maintaining a sense of style -- even with two kids in the back of the minivan.
When I slip on those big, dark, "jackie-O" shades it doesn't matter if I am wearing my husband's white undershirt and a pair of cotton pajama pants, I can step out with a modicum of fashion confidence. They also work wonders to camoflauge a lack of sleep, (thanks to my 18 month old,) or the lack of make up. Can't live without them.
My son has horrible refux and spits up often. I maintain my cool and have my dogs - yes dogs - clean up the mess. Now they see the baby as an automatic treat dipenser!
I just call them whenever Connor "dispenses" a treat and they come running to clean the floor.

What makes your life easier?
Babysitting swap with my neighbors. When their kids come over, my little one is occupied. When it's my turn to take advantage of babysitting, I get guiltless time to myself for free. (See secret indulgence.)
What product could you not live without?
I love my UPPAbaby stroller. It helps me stay in shape (we walk everywhere in it), it's stylish, and the huge basket underneath helps me turn a stroll into a shopping trip.
What's your secret indulgence?
I have a few. Weekly yoga classes, pedicures when I can sneak in time, and the steam room at the gym.
I feel stylish when I wear my straw cowgirl hat, my chic new sunglasses and carry my hip new purse- no one even notices that I am once again wearing my favorite pink ribbon t-shirt, green cargo pants- and those mary jane crocs!
Can't live wihtout the DVR- with it- the little man can watch Jack's Big Music Show any time of day- kid tested and mother approved!
My indulgence is not a secret- I need lattes- so once or twice a week I splurge- Blue Rain cafe in Apex uses Larry's Beans- YuM-O and good for the planet too.

What makes my life easier?
I have gotten rid of my cell phone and I don't miss it at all. Now I can play with my kids, drive the car, and do everthing uninterrupted. Plus, I'm saving money too!
What products I could not live without?
mascara, lip gloss, and tinted sunsceen
My secret indulgence?
Once a week I'll light candles around my hot tub and soak with a glass of wine. Ahhhh!
