As a mother, we all know how nice it is to be recognized for our efforts. Now, here is your chance to recognize someone who was there for you when you were sick, feeling down or just needed a hug. Vicks Caring Tributes video contest gives you the opportunity to celebrate someone who cared for or comforted you, whether it was your mother, your husband, your best friend, or even your kids. The deadline to enter this contest is January 31st, and the winner will receive a $10,000 getaway to Nemacolin Woodlands Resort. A good friend of mine spent some time there and I hear it is an amazing spa. What mom wouldn't enjoy a little pampering?

I never felt more loved than when I was recovering from my third experience with breast cancer (after losing my sister to the same disease) My husband, sons, friens and family rallied around me during 2 lumpectomies, radiation and finally the most difficult a double mastectomy and reconstruction I who was once called "miss strong" by my friends became very humbled and needy. They were angels who helped in a very long recovery process. From cooking me breakfast in bed to helping bathe me to holding me at night I was now on the receiving end of the care I'd given others as a nurse for 20 years nurse. It wasn't easy but their love carried me through.
