Attention all you writers out there! Christine, over at Mothering Heights is hosting a Mother's Day Essay Contest. She has secured a plum book deal featuring essays from the mouths of mothers, and she needs your help. She's asking you to submit your own essay about motherhood, including wry, witty, honest and personal observations you'd like to share with mothers and mothers-to-be everywhere. Twenty essays will be chosen to appear in Mothering Heights Mother’s Day Essays, Volume One, slated to be published in time for Mother's Day, 2008. The winning essays will appear in her book and each winner will receive a Mothering Heights tiara and 3 copies of the book. The deadline is fast approaching (February 15), so fire up your typewriters, er, I mean computers, and get to work.
