Celebrate the Journey

Pregnancy is a journey that takes your body, and that of your baby, through a multitude of stages. The Nine Month Necklace from J. West Originals is a special creation designed to mark each one of those stages with a beautiful gemstone. At the beginning of each month there is a new gemstone to add. Each gemstone was selected for its metaphysical properties and represents a unique milestone your baby will achieve during that month. The Nine Month Necklace is crafted by hand and includes such beautiful gemstones as citrine, pearl and amethyst.

Designed by a midwife, the Nine Month Necklace makes a perfect gift for yourself, or the expectant mom in your life (hubbies, are you listening?). Available in white gold, yellow gold, or sterling silver, the Nine Month Necklace is a beautiful heirloom that helps you celebrate your journey while marking precious memories. In years to come it can then be passed down to your children as a special keepsake to remind them of their bond with you. Available in silver and gold, prices for the Nine Month Necklace range from $148 - $288.

One Chic Mama readers can save 10% when you use code "OCM10" on next order.

Exclusive for One Chic Mama Readers
Win a 16" or 18" Sterling Silver Nine Month Necklace of your very own ($148 value). Simply leave us a comment and tell us how you are celebrating your journey through pregnancy. The deadline is Midnight, EST, July 14. Please note, all comments are moderated and may not appear immediately.

Just had a daughter in February, what a lovely keepsake to hand down to her! During pregnancy (and now that she's here) I keep a journal and write an entry on the 4th day of every month to write down some of the things that are going on in her and our lives...

The journey of pregnancy to me is one of celebration every month. I never understood my body until pregnant and every month, there is some new facet to celebrate about it, from the first kick to the closeness you share with your husband, even through the labor to bring your child into the world and finally to nurse your child and enjoy them. It's the most wonderful time in your life. This necklace is breathtaking and really does express the celebration of the journey to me. Thank you so much!

I have a friend who is due in December with her first. She lost a baby last year and is understandably apprehensive about this pregnancy because of it. I think this necklace would be nice for her to celebrate the little life growing inside of her instead of being scared that she is going to lose this baby too.

The necklace too. Thanks!

My hubby and I tried for 13 long hard years to concieve and finally our twins were born last November, I would have to KEEP it if I win it.. lol.. (BTW I kept a personal journal from me to them, and I also kept another one that I would ask hubby, family members and close frineds to write in it too and passed it around during the baby shower. It was really nice to see how many great words of both encouragment and advise was collected).

Pregnancy has been such a revelation to me! After years of trying to conceive, I was 39 when I became pregnant, and absolutely thrilled. So many friends had complained and whined about their pregnancies, and I felt just the opposite. It was such a sense of feminine power, of a beautiful, secret rosebud unfurling within me. Every change was met with wonder and gratitude--it was the biggest adventure I've ever had, and I've loved it all.

What a beautiful necklace!

I am loving every minute of being pregnant. To celebrate this amazing time I've been taking extra time to myself to read and go on long walks and talk to baby before he/she arrives. I've also been taking pictures of my belly every 3 weeks so I have a fun album to look back on.

alfid said...

I can tell you how I celebrated my wife's pregnancy. From the very beginning of it, I loved watching her belly grow, then finally feeling a kick inside. I talked to our child through her belly all the time and as time went by, appreciated how comfy and warm (especially on those cold winter nights) she was to snuggle with. Even the trip to the hospital and labor was a celebration to me, although I didn't do that much of the work; I did appreciate all that she did. And finally, watching my wife hold our child and myself holding our child. That was probably the most wonderful experience I've ever gone through in my life. The necklace is lovely and I'd love to give it to my wife for all she's done. Thank you.

I loved being pregnant--it was the delivery that I had a hard time with! This necklace is lovely--I have never seen anything like it before!

Right now I'm not pregnant but I'm hoping I'm not on bedrest with my next pregnancy. I would love to do some prenatal yoga and spend some time working on my relaxation techniques.
