One Chic Mama in the Press

Great press is hard to find, yet we have been blessed by two amazing stories, both coming out this week! Today you can read our article in our local newspaper, the News and Observer. Tomorrow, the magazine NC Signature hits the stands. The writer happens to be a great friend of mine, and a guest blogger here from time to time, Ellen Willson Hoover.

So take a peek, read about how I got my start in the world of design and showed my sense of style at a young age (hint: my mom wasn't too happy with the outcome). Thanks to all you wonderful readers for all your support! It's been such a wonderful journey!

Hi,
I was excited to read the recent article, I live in Raleigh. I was on a great calming vacation @ Sunset Beach...
I am a proud 20 year state employee of all places (now) DHHS. Why was that job such an embarassment to you?
As I re-read the story, I am wondering now if you will provide your consulting services to others besides the "inside the beltline" folks, maybe some women just out of prison? I know a few if you think that would be possible. Members of our church are community volunteers for these ladies.
Thanks

Thanks for your comments, Sarah. It's not so much that it was an embarrassment - just that it wasn't in line with my career path. But it was very much a learning experience and I made some lifelong friends there!

I'm open to providing my services to all women in the triangle area. If you'd like to discuss your idea further, please send me a private email at michele@onechicmama.com and we can discuss. Thanks!
