Winter is the perfect time to relax, curl up in front of a cozy fireplace and get crafty. Now, where do we start? Why not grab the new book, Crafty Mama: Makes 49 Fast, Fabulous, Foolproof (Baby & Toddler) ProjectsOh, but you can't sew and think of yourself as craft-challenged. No worries. You'll soon be wielding a hot glue gun with ease (you might want to wait until the kiddos are safely tucked in first) and finding your way around the craft store faster than you can say "She's Crafty"! Crafty Mama
One of my favorite projects is "Booty-licious", encouraging us to bejewel our daughters favorite pair of sneakers with spangles and ribbons. I've actually done this for my daughter and it's a fun way to turn an inexpensive pair of shoes into something special, and make your daughter feel like a litle princess! Crafty Mama

I'm very craft challenged - I watched an activities director on a cruise do this origami chinese junk ship that went through all these different incarnations - a catamaran and a box with lids. I'm sort of on the cat's cradle level.
making wreath for the holidays
I am so craft challenged it's pathetic! This is why I admire handicrafts and the people that make them.

I have a toddler, and am trying to think of ways to a) work *with* him or b) kick him out! I'm more craft-challenged since he came along, but I wouldn't trade that. Much. Depends on the day and what I'm trying to get done, ha! I would like to also do some things he can actually enjoy, too.
OK so no one is around right and no one is gonna laugh..I have good days and then untalented days..I have sewn things to my skirt or jammies, screwed up with knitting and almost sewed across my finger with the sewing machine- ok that was excused I was going thru chemo so was messed up
I am very craft challenged. My kids would benefit if this book could help me!
i liked everything i could sew in ur book.nice work and makes great gifts also.but good at crafts or sewing i think ur books will help.
I am very craft challenged, but I love handmade and would love to learn! I've already asked for help learning to sew (I want to upcycle some clothes that don't fit the same anymore into baby things), but this book would definitely help (I'd love to read about the no-sew baby blanket!).
My daughter and I just recently discovered the play doh that you can let dry and it hardens. We had fun making things...snowman ;)

I enjoy attempting a variety of crafts: jewelry making, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting. But I'm not that great; I do it mostly for fun.
I love crafting or being creative in general. I love making homemade greeting cards, I think there fun and people enjoy geting them much more then just a regular store bought card. This sounds like an awesome book I'd love to be entered please. Thanks!

I am craft challenged, but want to start doing more stuff with my kids.
My favorite craft project is to crochet. I'm currently making a "mile-a-minute" afghan which is great for beginners. Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite craft is macrame. My Granddaughter and I usually do paper and glue and coloring crafts. We are getting ready to start some painting crafts.
I'm horrible at coming up with craft ideas and this would come in handy.I think the last craft I did was making some hats with a circle knitting type thing.

I'm terrible at crafting. I can straight knit and that's all. Good for scarfs. lol Thanks for the contest.
I am very craft challenged! I am attempting to crochet a blanket for my baby on the way but am not making much progress with it because I'm still learning.
my fave craft project was a bigger than life-size (of a baby) teddy bear that i made for a shower gift...many upcoming babies due soon, this would be a great gift!!
I am extremely craft challenged. I have a hard time with things that could probably be done by a very small child but I have always wanted to be crafty.
love to win this
I like to try lots of different crafts and have varying degrees of success. Mostly, I crochet, but I also do a lot of beading and paper crafts -- no origami, though. I really can't follow those directions. I am always on the lookout for new things to try
I am very craft challenged. Whenever I start a project, I usually have to go to my mom for help-she can make anything!
I love doing craft projects and now that my kids are getting older I like to have them do projects for family gifts. For Christmas we made really cool candle holders. We bought glass votive candle holders at the dollar store and I got some colorful tissue paper and Mod Podge from the craft store. You just cut or tear the tissue into small pieces, brush a bit of Mod Podge onto the glass and stick the tissue all over. After the glass is covered you put another layer of Mod Podge on and let it dry. These turned out so beautiful and everyone loved them!
My fave craft project is making princess wands from a kit I picked up at Aldi's for $3.99 that included supplies for 30 wands!

I actually am pretty crafty. Although I get myself in trouble, by seeing new crafting ideas & thinking I can do that! Yeah, some of them, I have no idea HOW to do that. lol My fave craft project is making flower pots for the kids teachers at the end of the school year.
I would love to share this with my daughter who is actually better after crafting than her mom is!
I'm not crafty. I can sew, but I am very utilitarian and everything I make looks like something out of a janitorial uniform catalogue. Would love some ideas for making my kids things look like they belong on kids
I make dreamcatchers :)

I so want to be crafty - and I'm one of those people who will admire the work of others, even buy some of the supplies, and never manage to create anything that I'm willing to display or let my kids wear outside the house!
I am still trying, though. This sounds like the perfect book!

I love making crafts, but I'm not very creative...I have a hard time coming up with new ideas.

I can make scrabble necklaces that is as crafty as i get
I'm craft challenged, but I do try to do art with my kids. We make egg carton caterpillars, paper bag puppets, snowflakes, etc. They love it and don't care how awful my art looks.
I'm very much craft challenged. If I want to work on a craft with the kids I buy the ready made sets, but they never look as good as they do on the package when I do them.

I love making crafts out of egg cartons and cardboard tubes from the paper towels. My toddler especially enjoys making them into caterpillars.
Thank you for the awesome information! Much appreciated. I also really enjoy reading your blog.
My favourite craft is knitting and making scarves. I am not very good, but I try.

I like doing crafts with my kids but my problem is thinking of things to make. I am not very creative in that way so this book would be helpful.
I'm a really crafty lady and try to master a different craft each year. This year, it's woodburning gourds that my hubby grew for me and which have been drying in our garage for years. Thanks for the giveaway.
I like making crafty stuff out my kids handprints cut out of construction paper. We have done turkeys and various frames for different holidays. The Family Fun site is a good place to find fun easy to do crafts.

more than craft-challeneged, i'm time-challenged and can't find the time to craft. my favorite craft project was a cross-stitched family tree i made for my mother-in-law
I am very craft challenged BUT I have decided this year I am going to learn to make bows for the girls and little ruffle socks. Maybe a tutu too. Not sure about the boys but I will find something to make for them.
Thanks so much!
It's hard for me to think of new crafts to enjoy with my little one. unexpectedprincess16@yahoo.com
