Last week I had the pleasure of being part of a fabulous eyewear trunk show at VisionPark in Raleigh, NC. Known for their chic designer eyewear, the selection at VisionPark didn't disappoint. With reps on hand from two fabulous lines, ogi and JeeVice, I worked with clients to help them choose the best glasses for their face shape and coloring. The wide variety of styles made it hard to choose just one pair.
ogi features sculptural frames in both titanium and plastic that run the gamut from architectural to just plain funky. These frames look great on both men and women and will give your appearance a sleek and modern look. Favored by celebs such as Anne Hathaway and Katherine Heigl, the shades from JeeVice will leave you feeling fabulous no matter what you have on that day!
When choosing eyeglasses or sunglasses, select styles that mimic the lines of your face. If you have a more angular face, opt for the popular rectangular-shaped frames or a pair with more angles than curves. For more rounded faces, go for more of a contoured frame. While not quite as popular, you'll enhance the lines of your face and look your best. When deciding on color in eyeglasses, choose one that highlights your natural tones or repeats your eye color. Bold colors are popular, but don't get carried away. Try a muted metallic with cutouts for a modern take on a classic style. And if you wear glasses everyday, why not create a whole wardrobe of specs that suit all your moods?
Special thanks to Hal Goodtree of Street Style TV for the great video.

I have always wanted a "personal eyeglass consultant." It's so tough to select a pair at the doctor's office "all by myself." I always end up asking everyone that works there and people in the waiting room what they they think. Okay, I don't really do that, but sometimes I *wish* I could do that.
And having a whole "wardrobe" of specs would be ideal - a new pair to match every outfit or mood. :)
