1 – 200 of 233 Newer› Newest»I used to be a runner, but after I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis, I had to give it up. I'm trying very hard to find a good alternative. I hate being sedentary!
I finally found a gyn I like, and a good trainer. It's still too easy to not go, but I am pushing myself. I do well during the week. But my gym is closed on the weekend. My biggest problem now is the diet. Dang, that's hard! Let's face it. Hard as it is, you can quit tobacco. You can quit alcohol. You can quit drugs. But you cannot quit eating! (Then we factor in things like holidays! Yipes!)
My biggest challenge is that its hard to find the motivation and energy to exercise after working 60 hours a week.
Like most people time is my biggest challenge.
My problem is discipline. I lost 30 pounds last year, thus, in my mind, I didn't need to do much to maintain the weight loss. I only recently started getting back into working out a few times a week, and my body really let me know that I was totally out of my previous state.
My biggest challenges are making time to excercise and controlling what I eat.
Finding time in the day to exercise.
my biggest challenge is a crappy back that limits what i can do...
swimming is good... but still i struggle
pamatmayo@hotmail.com
My biggest challenge is time - It is dark when I go to work and it is dark when I get home. I eat on the run so it usually is not very healthy

My biggest challenge is finding the time and motivation.
One of my biggest fitness challenges is the weather. I live in Southern Ontario, and as someone who hates the cold, I'm just not motivated to leave my home 6 months out of every year, especially when it's dark outside by 5 PM.
When spring and summer arrive, I'm outdoors walking, biking, swimming or gardening--and of course, trying to work off those 10+ pounds I gained over the winter!
As for the dark, cold days of October through March, I need something I can do that will keep me active without making me leave the house.
Thanks!

My twin tummy is a problem, but the biggest impediment to my fitness success is how very little time I have to make it to the gym because of my infant twins. When they don't need me (sleeping) I'm often exhausted or have such a short time to exercise that the travel time to and from the gym eats up most of the time available. I would love LOVE to work out at home. It would be much more doable and I am a big fan of Jillian's no nonsense style. It motivates me. Thanks for the chance! theprophecygirl at hotmail dot com

My biggest fitness challenge is that after most of my life being very petite and tiny, I developed hypothyroidism. These roadblocks are a difficult challenge for me after always being very physically active.
