{StyleFinder™ Profile} Miss North Carolina Discovers Her True Style!

Miss North Carolina, Arlie Honeycutt, knows a thing or two about style.  After all, the Garner, NC native has been in the spotlight, presenting herself at her best since the age of 14 when she was bitten by the pageant bug.

Arlie couldn’t have been more of a delight!  She is kind and gentle, with a generous heart.  To help Arlie uncover her true style, I asked her to take my StyleFinder™ assessment.  My philosophy on style is that it is not just the clothes you wear, it’s dressing authentically for who you are from the inside out.  Connecting with what your style truly is, and finding ways to express that through your clothing can be a powerful force in feeling confident and empowered by your own style.  I wanted to help Arlie know what to look for in her clothes so that she stays true to her style.  After all, with so many opportunities to experiment with different styles, it can sometimes be tricky to have clarity on what your own is.

Arlie’s StyleFinder™ iD is Delicate/Classic and Sporty , and in working with her I found that this is spot on in helping her express exactly who she is.

Delicate means that what’s most important to her is a look that is feminine, yet not overdone - certainly a look that flatters Arlie’s soft coloring, feminine charm and gentle nature.  This is tempered with Classic, which means a timeless style that transcends the trends.  While Arlie looks amazing in whatever she puts on, classic styles are her go-to without getting too caught up in the trends.  Sporty is Arlie’s supporting word and shows that what is fundamental to her style is comfort.  Yet while comfort is of utmost importance, she must not sacrifice her style or she will be left feeling disconnected from herself.  Put these words altogether and you have a recipe for style that creates a look just perfect for Arlie.
